Florals are back with a vengeance this season in bold and bright colors, and I love it so. And now that I’m thinking about dogs, I thought I’d share quickly those bookends that I ordered from Barnes and Noble last year (post here) because I realized this morning that I never showed you how they look in-situ. Paris-based husband wife team Farfelus Farfadets produce what they call "papier mache curiosities for everyday living, mixing realism with fantasy imagined from a world filled with bestiary imaginings and curiosities inspired by nature." Among their creations: "a parakeet, a white fig, a moose antler, numerous bones of dead animals." They also do sculpture, murals, and low-relief wall installations by private commission.
